What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol, which is a compound found naturally in hemp plants. CBD is not intoxicating, so you can use full spectrum or isolate oil for pain relief without experiencing a high.

Is CBD Legal?

The Hemp Farming Act of 2018 was a law to remove hemp from Schedule I controlled substances and make it an ordinary agricultural commodity. Its provisions are incorporated in the 2018 United States farm bill that was overwhelmingly passed and became law on December 20. 2018.
This bill removed hemp from the controlled substances act, which made it legal to cultivate hemp and process CBD products in most states.

Is CBD safe to use?

According to a report from the World Health Organization  there is no evidence of any public health-related problems
associated with the use of pure CBD.

Will using CBD make me fail a drug test?

By law, the legal amount of THC is less than 0.3%. Taking any amount of THC could potentially test positive on a drug test. There are CBD products made from an isolate oil that have very little or no detection of THC. In this case look for CBD Isolate products.

What does full spectrum mean?

Full spectrum hemp oil contains many cannabinoids and many essential vitamins and minerals, fatty acids, proteins, and terpenes. It contains less than 0.3% of THC as well as all the smells and flavors. Full spectrum means the entire spectrum of the plant.

What does broad spectrum mean?

Broad spectrum is CBD that has been extracted from the hemp plant with all the terpenes, essential oils, and cannabinoids except THC.

What is the recommended dosage?

The amount of CBD you take for pain relief depends on many factors like your weight, your medications, and the concentration of CBD in each drop.  We recommend that you talk to a doctor about the dosage and any potential risks. In most cases it is best to start with a low dose and work your way up until the desired effect is felt. 

What is CBD used for?

CBD is used to treat some seizure disorders like epilepsy. It is also used by some people for anxiety, pain relief, and other conditions, but there is not yet any scientific evidence to support the benefits of these uses.

How is hemp different than marijuana?

The difference in hemp  and marijuana is that hemp has a much lower amount of THC.  Hemp must have no more than 0.3% percent where as Marijuana has much higher amounts.  Anything over the 0.3% is considered Marijuana and not legal in the state of North Carolina.

Where does your hemp come from?

We buy Hemp from local North Carolina farmers who are properly licensed to legally grow hemp in the state.

What does it mean when a product has .3% THC?

The law states that CBD oil produced from hemp must contain less than 0.3% THC. The amount became legal to purchase when the FDA removed hemp from the controlled substance act under federal law.
